XXXII National Meeting on Condensed Matter Physics of The Brazilian Physical Society

The National Meeting on Condensed Matter Physics (ENFMC) of the Brazilian Physical Society is the largest Physics meeting in Brazil. In its first edition, in 1978, the Meeting had only 80 participants. Last year, the Meeting drew more than 1100 researchers, including graduate and undergraduate students and scientists from all regions of Brazil and abroad. Today, besides Condensed Matter, the Meeting includes the areas of Optics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Statistical Physics, Biophysics and Medical Physics.

The XXXII ENFMC will take place in Águas de Lindóia, State of São Paulo, from May 11 to 15, 2009.
